About the Position: Out of the Blue Designs, Vancouver Island's leading supplier of decorated fashion, sports and corporate apparel, has an excellent opportunity for a full time career as an experienced Textile Screen Printer for our in house print department. Is this position right for you? The successful candidate will bring proven skills in textile screen printing on both manual and automatic press machines. Willing to develop an individual who demonstrates essential skill set. Wage is $18 to $22 an hour depending on exp. Essential Skills: Six months to one year screen print experience in a high volume production environment Complete knowledge of textile screen printing processes Adheres to the highest level of quality control Organized, with a strong attention to detail Ability to work to meet deadlines and schedules Work independently when required Communicates well with other team members Reliable, dependable worker Continuous learner Advanced (Preferred) Skills: Ability to set up art for print production Knowledge of graphic design and art separations used in the application of screen printing Skilled in the use of automatic printers; and use of digital screen printing equipment along with good basic computer skills What Out of the Blue Designs Offers: Established leader in our industry Monday to Friday work week Competitive Wages Employee Benefits Opportunity to improve and advance skills in all areas of our company Wonderful opportunity to live in Victoria, British Columbia About the Company: Out of the Blue Designs (OOTBD) is a full-service, multi-line distributor of branded apparel and promotional products.
